A digital strategy to save the planet
NRDC was struggling with a fractured content landscape that lacked an enterprise level content strategy. In addition, they were amidst rebranding their organization to a new generation of environmentalists. Working as a UX and design lead, I collaborated with the client to change this iconic brand into a digital powerhouse.

ALIGNING ADVOCATES AND ATTORNEYS
Over the course of several design sprints, we developed a content strategy and user journeys allowed NRDC to amplify the causes of policymakers and attorneys through advocacy actions. From a UI and content perspective, we developed three versions of the brand–one that applied to attorneys, another to the environmentally-interested public, and a final that appealed to advocates. This allowed NRDC’s to flex its many muscles. At the end of the day, we were able to create a flexible design system and content practices that help them open eyes and wallets.
